The load that becomes sustenance

The man uphold a bag that full of gabah. Gabah is unpeeled rice. There was a great rice harvest in Majalengka West Java this weeks.

The man bring a load that become his sustenance or income. This man back and forth to bring the bags of gabah or unpeeled rice.

Two days ago  I went to Panyaweuyan, uphill  of Majalengka, to capture the agriculture with terracing system ( terasering ). On the way back to Jakarta I found a large yellow rice field that was being harvested.

I have made some conversation with the farmer who are  working to cut the rice. The farmers seemed to be happy with the result.
